Marcus Rashford leaving Manchester united
Marcus Rashford acknowledges that, prior to Erik ten Hag’s assistance in reviving his career at Old Trafford, he had considered leaving Manchester United last season.
In 32 appearances across all competitions, the attacker endured a disappointing 2021–22 year, netting just five goals as United struggled under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.
His career appeared to be in doubt as he appeared to be a pale imitation of the player of previous seasons, but under the Dutchman, he erupted into life over the most recent campaign.

Although things could have been quite different, the 25-year-old scored 30 goals across all competitions, including 17 in the Premier League, and appeared to be back to his dangerous best.
When asked if he had considered quitting the Red Devils, Rashford responded, “Maybe a little bit before the manager came, but it’s football, it happens,” according to the Guardian.
Everything happens for a reason, and his arrival in the club coincided with my timing perfectly.
Marcus Rashford and Erik ten Hag are members of Manchester United. Rashford has lauded Ten Hag’s impact since moving from Ajax, noting that he has given the players more freedom and fun than the previous administrations.
The England forward commented on how the Dutch coach has changed things, saying: “Freedom – we were just a little bit stiff in the past. Sometimes you’re not enjoying your football, and that was the situation with me. I wasn’t enjoying football as much as I should have been or as much as I usually did
Because of that, it affected how I played, and ultimately that’s how I am as a person: I find it challenging to play my best football when I’m unhappy.
“Just a little bit more freedom and stability gives you the foundation to try and demonstrate your skills.” I like to play in the forward positions, score goals, provide assists, and try to pose a threat.
